Job Description

As a Senior Programmer, you will join a team of other Senior Programmers, to support the Lead Programmer in developing, testing, releasing solutions, or updating our existing software portfolio.

Main Responsibilities

Writing and debugging complex code structures.

Performing trials, testing and quality checks to ensure strong functionality and optimisation.

Maintaining and supporting systems and improving the performance of existing web application.

Meeting with the Development team to discuss project requirements, progress and blockers.

Designing and updating databases.

Meet project requirements and standards.

Provide expertise and seek for ways of improvement.

Good communication skills both written and verbally and the ability to work well with people at all levels are essential.

Clearly and regularly communicate with Lead Programmer and provide technical support to colleagues where needed.

Ensuring deadlines are met.

Keeping records of development processes.

Weekly backup of all work.

Skills

Expert-level programming experience

AWS Infrastructure Expertise

Full Stack Deployment Skills

Experience in designing and developing APIs, as well as integrating with third-party APIs

Strong skills in one or more languages such as ASP Core, Node JS, Angular, React or any other JavaScript Framework.

Experience with source control systems such as Git, Bitbucket and Jira.

Experience in Database management is required with hands on skills on making complex stored procedures and functions.

Knowledge of Hybrid Mobile Applications like Ionic framework or React Native will be considered a plus.

Knowledge of cybersecurity will be considered a plus.

Demonstration of leadership skills, ownership and ability to provide technical guidance.

Ability to work collaboratively with teams, articulate complex technical concepts, and facilitate clear and efficient information sharing.
