Job Description
Design data warehouse. Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions. Crafting and executing queries upon request for data. Presenting information through reports and visualization.
Working on designing various analytical reports on company data and delivering them to top management and other business users. A BI developer, will be working with business users, collecting their requests, and then developing the BI reports to accommodate business needs. Expected to establish company standards and common reporting terminology, and to help align future reporting requests to standards.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Collect and maintain the set of business reporting requirements.
2. Implement BI reports based on the above requirements.
3. Set up and maintain BI tools, infrastructure, and integration with company data sources.
4. Work on data warehouse architecture, Propose data schema and data flow optimization for reporting performance and enhancement.
5. Adept at the use of BI reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Pentaho/Talend
6. Design data modeling, data schemas (normalized, flat, star, snowflake, etc.).
7. Understanding database operations and optimization for Oracle DB.
8. Understanding data and query optimization, query profiling, and query performance monitoring tools and techniques.
9. Design, implement ETL processes
10. Carry out monitoring, tuning, and database performance analysis
11. Creating and maintaining business requirements and other technical documentation.
12. Ensure all data warehouse architecture codes are maintained in a version control system
13. Individual will be able to lead other team resources and lead projects from technical and business point of view.
