Job Description

Job purpose

You will contribute to our international and local clients’ success by assisting in delivering their risk strategy and making risk value propositions to support the management decision making for sustainable business growth and operational excellence. In addition, you will provide on-going support on associated regulatory reporting and risk management matters to help clients meet their regulatory obligations.

You will contribute to the Firm’s success by supporting your colleagues to build better awareness of Risk matters and associated requirements.

Duties and responsibilities

Your specific duties and responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the development and maintenance of the risk framework including operational and credit risk.

Drafting and maintaining risk managementmanuals.

Planning, implementation, and process optimsation of enterprise risk management for our clients

Supporting and guiding colleagues and clients regarding risk and other relevantissues.

Conducting and support execution of riskassessments.

Identifying, logging, and resolving risk issues forclients.

Performing monitoring and surveillance of risk issues for clients in yourportfolio.

Producing risk management reports as required in the risk managementpolicy.

Drafting and assisting clients with related regulatory enquiries andreporting.

Assisting with ad hoc projects, monitoring tasks and regulatorychange.

Requirements:

Direct interaction with regulatory authorities such as the Dubai Financial Services Authority, Abu Dhabi Global Market, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, State Bank of Pakistan, Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority and the Financial Conduct Authority of the UK in relation to risk matters.

Skills

Good understanding of Risk Management international standards such as COSO ERM and ISO 31000, and/or specific banking/securities general risk framework under Basel and IFRS guidelines
