Job Description

Duties and responsibilities

Development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures to ensure they remain appropriate for the nature and complexity of the client

Financial affairs of the clients in your portfolio including the audit of financial statements and their submission with regulatory bodies

Timely submission of regulatory returns 

Monitoring and ensuring that the clients in your portfolio have and maintain liquid assets and access to ensure early warning of situations where liabilities cannot be met as they fall due.

Producing and reporting of accurate& relevantmanagement accounts for the management and board of each client

Monthly review of clients’ entire bookkeepingincluding journal entries and payroll schedules and prepare the management accounts ensuring they comply with the professional standards, IFRS, and firm policies.

Review of budgets and analysis of comparative performance (actual vs budgeted amounts) and highlight findings or significant areas in the financial reports to the management team

Building the internal audit practice for the firm for clients based in the Gulf Cooperation Council

Liaison with the External Auditor for year-end financial report

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Direct and relevant experience in regulatory reporting with authorities such as UK FCA,DFSA, ADGM, QFCRA, SAMA & CMA

Proven track record of production of management and regulatory accounts and ongoing execution of requirements

Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the firm and with clients and regulators

Ability to deal with colleague and clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and nationalities
