Job Description

We are looking for a talented Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer for our Client to assist our global ecommerce sites. Candidate must be a hands-on technology professional with development experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Demandware. This technical role requires the ability to understand business strategies and translate those strategies to a technical architecture and roadmap. S/he must have strong communication skills and time management and ability to develop solution and work alone on projects as well as with a team.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

Hands-on development of Salesforce Commerce Cloud including integrations with external systems and partners such as CMS, CRM, ERP, fraud management and payment etc.

Continuous identification and resolution of errors/bugs/issues throughout web experience

Provides technical support of Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform

Comply with source code and manage code release process

Key business partner to drive technical vision supporting business goals

Monitor order flow, catalog flow, scheduled jobs, etc.

Participate in development of large projects with internal and 3rd party resources

Responsible for utilizing 3rd party agencies’ assets/modules and be their technical contact person

Responsible for providing the development and production server environments to 3rd party agencies and outside developers.

Mentors, develops and other developers and team members

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

Expert attention to technical detail

Systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to conduct research for new solutions using industry standards, best practices and products

Hands-on experience with web technologies such as SCSS, JavaScript/jQuery, AJAX, XML, JSON, SOAP and REST

Expert level knowledge of responsive web design concepts

Expert level knowledge of source control, build tool and collaboration tools such as Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), Git, Jenkins

Strong personal interest in digital technology and awareness of industry standards or best-known methods

Excellent English communication skills with ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written with staff and end users of all levels

Ability to work across teams and manage priorities to accomplish multiple tasks is required.
