Full Stack Developer

Job Description

Our client looking for a full stack developer to work on a Catholic school engagement app. Desired skills: React.js, Node.js, and Redis. This is a fully remote position. 

The developer will have the following responsibilities:

·         Developing front end website architecture

·         Designing user interactions on web pages

·         Designing and developing APIs

·         Designing and developing backend data models

·         Meeting both technical and consumer needs

·         Ensuring responsiveness of application

·         Participating in the design and creation of scalable software

·         Writing clean, functional code on both the frontend and backend

·         Testing and fixing bugs or other application issues

Skills

·         Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

·         Proficiency with React.js (Knowledge of new react features such as hooks is important)

·         Familiarity with React’s Material UI library

·         Proficiency with Node.js and Express.js

·         Familiarity with Redis database or NoSql databases

·         Excellent verbal communication skills (English)

·         Good problem-solving skills

·         Attention to detail

·         React Native experience is not required, but is a plus
