Assistant Manager – IT Audit

Job Description

Our prestigeous client is looking for an Assistant Manager - IT Audit who has hands on experience and can deliver the following:

Acting as a central point of contact of Internal, external audits and IT security audits.

Examine internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk, and develop remediation strategiesRespond to all system and/or network security breaches.

Remain updated and perform research on the latest information technology security trends.

Monitor THFL’s IT Infrastructure and applications for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur.

Risk assessment against all possible security threats on IT infrastructure and provide guideline to minimize or eliminate them.

Review, evaluate, and test application controls.

Responsible to establish effective IT Audit polices and SOPs.

Perform regular audit testing and provide recommendations.

Provide recommendations and guidance on identified security and control risks

Giving awareness to end users by training sessions on IT audit related risks & security.

Improve knowledge in the area of IT audit, risks, security and standards.

Skills

Proven working experience as IT Audit or IT Security or IT Systems

Advanced computer skills on MS Office, Office 365, Azure etc

Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports

Basic knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations

High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

Sound independent judgement

Experience with firewall, WAF, IPS/IDS, NGFW, Office 365 Security, Azure, Active Directory and Endpoint Security would be preferable
