Job Description:
Reporting to the network management of the client’s organization, the Network Engineer will work with the local management team and project managers to design and implement solutions and the ongoing support responsibility. The Network Engineer must be working onsite 100% at the Labrador office and occasional travel to the Sept-lles city in Quebec, Canada.
Responsibilities
Gather technical requirement
Assess and define target solution.
Implement and configure network equipment
Provide on-going support of the local networks
Provide effort estimate to the project manager to deliver the proposed solution.
Assure quality of the project team deliverables (built as designed)
Support project execution team to remove technical roadblocks.
Key Requirements
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French
Preferably a Canadian national or holding valid Visa/Work permit
Excellent knowledge of networking domain
Good experience in other IT infra domains like hosting, AD and End user computing.
Experience in corporative and industrials IT a great asset.
Knowledge of mining application and IT infrastructure a great asset.
Excellent skills to summarize and present complex solution.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French
Excellent skills to work on multiple projects, teams, stakeholders, sites, and time zones in parallel.
